Several months ago I was diagnosed by my doctor with sciatica in my left buttocks and leg. After trying exercise on my own and a round of steroids, I was no better. In early March he referred me to Carolina Physical Therapy in Fuquay-Varina. This was the first time this 71 year old woman had ever had physical therapy and I was a little apprehensive.

I am pleased to say it has been a very good experience and the results have been more than worth the effort. Brian Ward, MPT, gave me a very professional explanation of my problem, but in terms that I could understand and explained how he planned to help me. And help me, he has!

The combination of ultrasound, exercise, stretching and manipulation of tight muscles has done away with most of the pain. Now that I have been released from the visits to physical therapy, I have an exercise program to follow that was tailor-made for me by Brian.

Going to the physical therapy sessions was pleasant because of the friendly atmosphere and the feeling that Brian and Jackie were sincerely interested in giving the best service they could provide.
