Our Facility

Franklin Regional Therapy Center is a state-of-the-art comprehensive facility which allows our clients a full spectrum of exercise equipment, free weights and a spacious gym including five individual treatment rooms. We are proud to have the area's only heated aquatic pool with resistance jets and a hydraulic lift chair. Ample parking with easy access to therapy. Services include physical therapy, speech therapy and occupational therapy.

Our Staff

Kristi Whitcomb, PT, Director

Kristi has been leading the team for Carolina Physical Therapy Associates at Franklin Regional Medical Center for six years. She manages both inpatient and outpatient services and does a tremendous job coordinating PT, OT and SLP services. Kristi graduated from East Carolina University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has over sixteen years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation with emphasis on stroke and traumatic brain injury management. Currently Kristi is focusing on orthopedics, neuro and women's health.

Tosha Henk, PT

Tosha received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy and an undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania. Tosha incorporates her background in exercise science into effective treatment of various pathologies of the musculoskeletal system. She has experience in outpatient, acute care, and skilled nursing settings. Tosha has a special interest in treating vestibular pathologies as well. Tosha has passion for orthopedic and sports physical therapy and strives for positive rehabilitation outcomes and personailized, quality patient care. Her interests include running, working out, and spending family time at the beach with her husband Michael.
